Marley Modern Roof and EPDM Flat Roof Replacement in Merthyr Tydfil

M&J Roofing recently completed a full tiled roof replacement on a residential property in Merthyr Tydfil, along with new flat roofs to the lower levels. The old concrete tiles were covered in moss and the felt flat roofs had cracked and been patched over the years, so the whole property needed a complete upgrade.

Our team started by stripping the main roof back to the rafters, removing the old tiles, battens and felt. New membrane and battens were then installed before the roof was finished in Marley Modern tiles, giving the property a clean, contemporary look that is built to last.

On the lower levels, the old felt coverings and decking were removed back to the joists. We laid new interlocking OSB boards to create a solid, even deck, then finished each roof with a EPDM rubber roof. EPDM is a durable, seamless membrane that performs well in all weather, making it an excellent long-term choice for flat roofing in Merthyr Tydfil.

To complete the job, we fitted brand-new uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering all round the property, on both the main roof and the lower levels, for a neat, low-maintenance finish.

The work was completed safely and efficiently, with the site kept tidy throughout. The result is a smart new tiled roof and fully refurbished flat roofs that will protect the home for many years to come. Another successful project completed by M&J Roofing in Merthyr Tydfil.
