Double Slate Roof Replacement and Extension in Caerphilly

M&J Roofing recently completed a double slate roof replacement on a residential property in Caerphilly, including new slate roofing to the main roof and extensions. The existing roof coverings had reached the end of their lifespan, so a full strip-back was required before installing a modern, long-lasting roofing system. The work was carried out by our experienced roofer in Caerphilly.

The project involved fitting a new breathable membrane, renewing all roof battens, and installing high-quality slate tiles to both roof sections. Care was taken to ensure a neat, consistent finish across the main roof and the extensions, with correct fixing and detailing throughout.

As part of the works, we also installed all new uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering, refreshing the appearance of the property while improving weather protection and rainwater drainage.

Working at height and across multiple roof areas required careful planning. Safe access was installed, and the site was kept tidy throughout the project. Once the roofing works were complete, a full clean-down and final inspection were carried out to ensure everything met our usual high standards.
